I  was an educator for eleven years before joining Modern Woodmen of America, a head boys basketball coach for seven of those, serving as Athletic Director for four years. My wife, Denita, and I have two boys, Sawyer and Tucker. Denita just completed her 15th year as an elementary teacher. Her parents were both educators. Her dad was a teacher and coach for 40 years, and her mother just completed her 47th year of teaching! She also has a brother that is in his 25th year of coaching in Monroe, Louisiana.
